Each session, we’ll pull cards to determine key design elements, then we’ll interpret them in our own unique ways. The goal? To play, experiment, and surprise ourselves with what we create!
I created the Quilter’s Inspiration Deck for myself—it was a tool I needed to get out of my own head. Too often, we overthink, second-guess, and get stuck in our own perfectionism. But quilting, at its core, isn’t about following rigid rules—it’s about trusting ourselves, moving with instinct, and letting creativity lead the way.
As a quilt instructor, my goal isn’t just to teach technique. It’s to help people get out of their heads. To reconnect with their bodies. To trust their BONES.
Our bodies know what feels right. What colors make us feel alive. What patterns bring us comfort. What movement feels like home. Intuition isn’t a mystery—it’s a fact. We’ve just unlearned how to hear it and trust it.
And nothing gets us back to ourselves quite like tactile, textile work.
